Euro Pellet S.A was started in 2009. Since that date the company has been exporting pellets to Europe. We pride ourselves on being a pioneering uruguayan company regarding the pellet developing technology.

We count with a team that has vast experience with regards to Biomass handling and pellets manufacturing.


We have a manufacturing plant located in Montevideo - Uruguay.

WHAT IS PELLET?

It´s a fuel that it is obtained from dry sawdust

It is obtained from simple mechanical processes, subjecting the raw material at high pressures and temperatures, allowing the lignin acts as natural binder.



BENEFITS OF PELLET

  • It is renewable energy that comes from planted forests that rebuilds.
  • Standardized fuel (diameter, length, moisture, heating value).
  • Low moisture content.
  • 100% of the Pellet is natural.
  • High energy density which means low needs storage.
  • Storage clean and safe.
  • Suitable for the requirement of the new equipment.
  • They are more efficient than firewood and chips as they contain less than 10% moisture. Firewood is between 30 and 60% humidity.
  • It is proved that the burning of Pellets is the cleanest of all solid fuels.
  • Neutral balance in CO2 emissions done in the right conditions, the combustion of biomass produces water and CO 2 ,but the amount of this gas emitted (primarily responsible the greenhouse effect), was previously captured by the plants during their growth. THE CO2 living biomass is part of a flow natural circulation between the atmosphere and vegetation, so it does not increase greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.

PELLET USES

  • Hot water heating with pellets systems, work the same way as conventional fuel systems liquid or gas.
  • It works and behaves as liquid, allowing its use as fuel in boilers, burners, stoves and appliances designed for combustion
